THREE-DIMENSIONAL VISUAL ARTS

The 3D Visual Arts program offers a variety of opportunities, including Pottery 1 & 2, Sculpture 1 & 2, Advanced 3D Design, Carolina Crafts, and mask making. Students learn technical skills for three-dimensional construction in introductory classes then use these skills to create conceptually-based works of art in advanced levels. They explore art history and contemporary art and use this to influence their own works in individual, small group, and whole class production pieces. Mrs. Roberts and her students continuously strive to push the expectation of what what middle school art can be!
